Craft Dallas

This week I went to Craft Dallas for restaurant week. Let me tell you; AMAZING. The food, the atmosphere, the service. Everything was perfect. The meal was a pre-fixed $35 three course menu, with the option of the fourth course served family style at the table. I actually prefer this style over a plated dinner. This way, participants may serve themselves from dishes that are on the table. Choosing personal portions can potentially be effective in consuming less, rather than service of a plate 3 times the appropriate size! Also, it is understood by the people accompanying me that I get to ‘eat off their plates’. I always love to have a bite of everything served!

20% Gratuity..$11.00

So, my ticket ended up being over $60 by the end of the night. Still..the food was delictable. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

-Roasted Quail and Golden Raisin on Crostini
Main Course:
-Yellowfin Tuna
-Diver Scallops
-Wagyu Tri Tip Steak
-Roasted Breast of Rabbit
Third Course:
-Assorted Mushrooms
-Fingerling Potatoes
-Roasted Mixed Vegetables
Fourth Course:
(available with a voucher provided by Central Market with a $25 purchase)
-Creamy Roasted Corn Risotto
-Tri Selection of Ice Cream: Concord Grape, Strawberry, Malt Vanilla Bean
-Lemon Tart with Roasted Apricots
-Creamy Panna Cotta with Fresh Blueberries

At the end of the dinner, the waitress brought the party a ‘gift’. An item from their breakfast menu: Rich Chocolate Muffin. Pretty good; although, it was rich!
